Our team includes industry experts in the fields or Architecture, Building Information Modeling (BIM), Civil Engineering, Geospatial, Utilities, Information Technology and Mechanical Engineering. Our consultants are senior professionals with many years of practical work experience to bring to each and every engagement.
Cathy Wagenaar
Cathy has been the President of K-TEK for 4 years. She has over 30 years of consulting experience with emphasis on applying structured methodology to the development of software: Project Management, Quality Management, Configuration Management and applying Software Development Lifecycle Methodologies. For the past 15 years, she has been working in the Autodesk ecosystem - focused on implementing large geospatial projects for organizations including Eli Lilly, New England Electric, Oracle and Macerich. She is currently managing a $1M project that K-TEK is implementing for a large California DOT.

Kim Davis
Kim was founding member of the GIS division at Autodesk and former head of product management and marketing for the Infrastructure Solutions Division at Autodesk, which included their geospatial product line. Kim was also director of business development for Geospatial in the Americas and she has a global Rolodex of geospatial experts.

Dan Leighton
Dan has worked on utility, GIS, water resources, civil, and database projects for over 30 years. Dan has developed and implemented a variety of GIS systems for clients worldwide, including custom designed solutions tailored to help clients manage, model, and perform planning studies of their critical infrastructure. Civil Engineer, first product manager for a geospatial product at Autodesk (ADE).

Lance Maidlow
Lance's experience in the GIS space spans 30 years and positions with companies such as Autodesk, Munsys, Kanotech Information Systems and Associated Engineering. With industry experience that has enabled him to serve clients on four continents, Lance offers a perspective that is truly global. Over the course of his career, he has delivered his consulting expertise in the areas of utilities (water, sewer, electric, and cable), oil and gas, and public safety.
Lance brings a focus on practicality to K-TEK’s solutions and makes sure that our unique combination of technology and services custom fits each customer.

Will Crichton
Will is a senior consultant with over 20 years of experience as a software developer, architect, and project leader. He has extensive experience delivering geospatial consulting services to customers. For example, he has developed and implemented municipal and utility mapping applications integrating Oracle with AutoCAD. He was the AutoCAD Map product manager for 3 years at Autodesk. Will is currently on contract with K-TEK as a developer at PG&E, working on their Gas and Electric Maintenance System.

Alex Fordyce
Alex is a senior consultant with over 15 years of experience as an applications developer, architect, and project leader. Alex is the former product manager for Autodesk MapGuide. He has over ten years of hands-on GIS application development experience using a wide variety of software and databases. Alex is currently implementing and managing geospatial projects built on both Autodesk and ESRI technology.

Andrea Bell
Andrea is a senior geospatial solutions application engineer with extensive experience in training, implementation, and quality control. Andrea has extensive knowledge of CAD and GIS software applications including AutoCAD Map 3D, MapGuide, Autodesk Topobase, Oracle Spatial, MapInfo and FME. Andrea’s expertise also includes Database integration including Oracle, SQL Server and Microsoft Access.

Lori Copeland
Lori has 20 years of experience working with CAD. She was a technical specialist and training manager at Autodesk for 11 years focusing on the civil engineering and AEC industries. Lori is a certified Project Management Professional. She is an experienced developer of live, blended and on-line learning and teaches CAD and Project Management at the college level. She started her career as a civil engineer at the US Army Corps of Engineers.
