K-TEK Accelerator for Autodesk Utility Design

K-TEK is one of a select group of service providers authorized by Autodesk to work with utilities to deliver solutions that leverage the flexibility and power of AUD.   The K-TEK Accelerator for Autodesk Utility Design (AUD) follows our K-Start methodology to provide you with a solid foundation to pilot and implement Autodesk Utility Design in a planned, incremental, managed fashion.  

AUD's flexibility requires extensive configuration for every customer, and this is taken into account within the accelerator project.  The K-TEK Accelerator considers all core AUD implementation issues.  It is based on a proven methodology and managed by experienced K-TEK staff.  When you're ready to move from AutoCAD to AUD, and accelerate your utility design, the K-TEK Accelerator delivers immediate benefits while serving as a well-crafted foundation for long term productive use of Autodesk Utility Design in your organization.

K-TEK Accelerator for Autodesk Topobase

Autodesk Topobase is an advanced geospatial data management platform that can support a wide range of infrastructure management solutions for organizations such as utilities, public works departments, and telecommunication companies.  It empowers everyone in an organization to access information as appropriate.  Information can be maintained both from desktops and web browsers.  And Topobase supports customizable workflows, which simplify the process of maintaining information and ensure accuracy.

Utility Specific Training Development and Delivery

When it comes to using advanced solutions such as AutoCAD Map, Topobase, and AUD, or similar advanced Autodesk products at your utility, you need more than a generic training.  K-TEK is experienced in creating trainings tailored to meet specific customer needs, and adapted to the environment and interface that the trainees will experience.  Our utility training expertise includes:

• Instructor led training development - K-TEK can create courseware that includes utility-specific exercises, graphics, and examples.  We can design the training to be delivered by your staff, or we can provide delivery personnel to complement your team.
• Web-based training - K-TEK has deep experience creating advanced on-line learning content.  This includes using the latest tools to ensure the trainings are interesting and keep the students engaged.  As with the instructor led trainings, these can be tailored to your specific utility environment, using your terminology, images, and design styles to ensure students focus on the content.
• Training design - Sometimes the biggest challenge is deciding who, what, and when.  K-TEK can help you by leading a workshop with key stakeholders, and providing a professional training plan and design.
