K-Start for Map 3D

Many organizations do mapping with AutoCAD, or only use basic Map 3D functionality. Our K-Start for Map 3D is specifically designed for these customers, and who want to move up the value-chain to get more from their maps and map data. The K-Start for Map 3D helps organizations come up the Map 3D learning curve, and avoid common (and costly) mistakes. The result is a solid foundation to leverage Map 3D in a planned, incremental, managed fashion.

K-Start for Map 3D includes evaluation of your existing CAD-based maps, review of existing procedures and workflows, design of a strategy to create intelligent data-enabled map content, and an integration strategy for Map 3D maps. This is coupled with training on best practices for Map 3D focused on your specific organization’s requirements. The K-Start also includes a Findings and Recommendations document.

Technical Training

K-TEK offers advanced geospatial software training services including delivery of standard courses, development of custom instructor-lead or computer based courseware, skills evaluation, and mentoring. Our trainers have extensive experience with Map 3D, MapGuide 6.5, and MapGuide Enterprise, and are skilled at tailoring trainings to meet your specific needs and goals. K-TEK can also leverage and extend courseware from Autodesk and other 3rd parties.

MapGuide Site Development

K-TEK consultants have extensive experience with Autodesk’s MapGuide products, including both MapGuide 6.5 and MapGuide Enterprise. If you have map-associated information to provide to your organization or to the public, K-TEK can make your on-line maps a reality.
