Windows Vista CompatibilityAny installation of 4D Technologies (4D) products on Windows Vista is at the sole risk of the customer until such support is specifically stated on the product packing, through an email notification or stated on the CADLearning / 4D Technologies web sites.

4D has tested Computer Based Tutorial (CBT) products with Vista Home Premium. The latest versions of the 4D CBT tested comparable to Windows XP. The Vista install asks permission to install a program and once given it allows the program to use the resources it needs, within the Users protected area.
*Our older Media Player based products do not work on Vista. CBTs such as AutoCAD 2002, 2004, ADT 2004, Inventor 9 are NOT compatible. Any products released before the AutoCAD 2006 series. We have no plans at this time to upgrade these products.
Note: 4D CBT products may encounter issues to the increased security in the network versions of Vista.
Products which we have successfully tested with Vista will have this logo on the product page. If you do not see the logo we cannot support Vista for that product.
